239TECH LLC, trading as Carferrals, handles two very different kinds of personal information: details of the dealerships who subscribe, and details of the private sellers we connect them to. This page covers both, and is specific rather than generic on purpose.

If you are a dealership

We collect and store:

  • Your email address and password, which our authentication provider stores; passwords reach us only as a hash we cannot reverse.
  • Your dealership's name, address, ZIP code and phone number. The ZIP is what we use to measure how far each vehicle is from you.
  • What you are looking for — the categories, distances, price and mileage ranges you save.
  • Which leads you have claimed and what you recorded as the outcome.

We use it to run the service: to match vehicles to you, to email you when something matches, to meter your monthly lead allowance, and to bill you.

We never see or store your card details. Those go directly to Stripe, who process the payment. We hold only the identifiers Stripe gives us for your customer and subscription record.

If you are a seller

We record vehicles for sale in Lee and Collier Counties, Florida, including details of the vehicle, its asking price, and where it is. Where a listing is publicly posted, that may include the name shown on the listing and a link to it.

We ask before we connect you to anyone. Your phone number or email is passed to a dealership only after you have told us you want to be connected to local dealers, and only to the dealership that asks for it. We do not publish it, sell it as a list, or pass it to anyone else.

Dealerships agree, as a condition of using the service, to contact you only about buying that vehicle, not to add you to any marketing list, and to stop if you ask them to.

If you want your details removed, email hello@carferrals.com and we will delete them.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of service providers, each for one job, and share only what that job needs:

  • Supabase — the database and sign-in.
  • Vercel — hosting.
  • Stripe — subscription payments. They receive your card details directly; we do not.
  • Resend — the emails we send you about matching vehicles and billing.
  • Sentry — error monitoring, so a failure reaches us instead of silently costing you a lead. Reports are scrubbed of contact details and credentials before they are sent.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

We set one kind of cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across other websites, so there is nothing here to opt out of.

How it is protected

Access is restricted at the database itself rather than only in the application. A dealership can read its own records and no other dealership’s. Seller contact details are held in columns that the application cannot read at all except through the specific step that records a dealership claiming that lead — so they cannot be pulled out in bulk, by a dealer or by a bug.

How long we keep it

Dealership records are kept while the account exists and for as long as we need them for tax and accounting. Vehicle records are kept while they are relevant to matching. If you close your account or ask us to delete your details, email us and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a transaction.

Children

This is a service sold to businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially we will email account holders before it takes effect. Questions, requests and complaints go to hello@carferrals.com.
